INTERNET:
We recognize the importance and usefulness that the internet provides that we also realize the dangers and pitfalls present in this medium. It is possible to find information on any subject so we recommend families to use a content filter to block out and prevent seeking of inappropriate content. This is not always possible so we encourage internet users not to spend too much time on it and to be careful and ashamed on the judgement day. On the internet and in books and reading materials, we are bombarded with and can find support for almost any idea, any belief in the world, which can allow for doubt in the beliefs and questions of "what is Truth" in those not firmly grounded in the Faith. We should always encourage and teach our members and youth the ways of the truth and righteousness and warn them of the dangers that the internet and other mediums present.

TELEVISION:
Because of the subtle evils in television programming only a small percentage is significantly educational. The use of firearms, illegal love, violence, murders, drinking, the tendency toward nudity, and general patterns of sub-Christian society compose the atmosphere to which both children and adults ate subjected when the have access to television. We earnestly urge our members to refrain from subscribing to television programming. (2 Cor. 5:17-18, 10:5, 1 Cor. 10:31, 1 John 2:15)

RADIO:
Furthermore we recognize that many programs available on radio are also of an evil nature and not conductive to holiness. Especially the current trend in music has shown to have detrimental effect on the spiritual life. We also recognize the great potential of these mediums, especially the use of radio in spreading the news of the gospel to the lost. We feel we can support as individuals those programs that are doctrinally sound and lead to the real Christian life. We also urge our members to be careful when purchasing of books, publications, movies, music, and other media. All media should be conducive to healthy spiritually.

MEDIA:
Society’s media is controlled by those with less-than-Christian standards. We call on our brethern to beware of the dangers of our present-day media, whether in the use of computers, Internet, DVD, VCR, TV, books, magazines, or other media.

Recognizing the tremendous impact of television and other forms of mass media, we strongly recommend that all “spiritually detrimental programming” be removed from the home. Media that is acceptable can also be detrimental if not used thoughtfully and deliberately. We must allow the Holy Spirit to guide us in controlling their impact on our lives, and refrain from practices that would grieve the Holy Spirit and hinder our witness for Christ.

We ask you to respect the views of other brothers regarding media use. When one is in the presence of others who are offended by our use of any form of media, we should abstain for our brother’s conscience sake.

THE INTERNET, TELEVISION, RADIO & MEDIA

...be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Rom 12:2

2Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
